1. OBJECTIVES
- Demonstrate achievements in photo art in recent years.
- Promote exchange and development of photography.
2. REGLAMENT
- The exhibition is open to photographers from any country of
the world.
- Submitted photos must have been taken within the years 2008-2013.
- An author (a group of authors) may enter up to 4 photos. A series
is taken as 1 work with a number of photos not more than 6 for
a series.
- No genre or style limitations.
3. EXHIBITION THEME
MAN, WORLD, SOCIETY
Selection process for the exhibition is competitive.
Selection process consists of 3 rounds of evaluation.
Round 1 – works for the exhibition
are selected by the jury.

- Technical characteristics of a submitted picture:
Jpg, maximum 1000 pix on a larger side (wide - if a horizontal
image or tall - if a vertical image), maximum picture volume -
500 kb.
The picture name must contain: the name of the exhibition, name,
surname, a series/a photo, a series/a photo title, № of work in
a series, year.
e.g.: Photo Biennale_Yury Sidorov_Series_Title_№_year_jpg;
or:
Photo Biennale_Yury Sidorov_Photo_Title_№_year_jpg.

download an entry form and complete it with the required information.
The form and a copy of an entry fee payment document must be attached
to the author’s collection of photos.
Entries not following these requirements will not be eligible
for entry.
An entry form is in Appendix 1.
A receipt of an entry fee is in Appendix 2.
- Digital versions of works are admitted till 14th August 2013.
- The list of authors admitted to Round 2 will be available online
at www.permfotoart.ru
on 21th August 2013.
Round 2 – the entries selected in
Round 1 will proceed to Round 2.
- Works on CD or DVD or in a digital format are admitted at permfoto@yandex.ru
or www.permfotoart.ru, or printed works are to be submitted.
- Works on CD or DVD or in a digital format are admitted at permfoto@yandex.ru
or www.permfotoart.ru are admitted for further printing
and participating in the exposition.
Works are printed on a large-format printer.
Technical characteristics of a file: JPG/TIFF, 240/300dpi,
colour profile Adobe/sRGB, printing size not less than
40х60cm.
The picture name must contain: the name of the exhibition, name,
surname, a series/a photo, a series/a photo title, № of work in
a series, year.
e.g.: Photo Biennale_Yury Sidorov_Series_Title_№_year_jpg;
or:
Photo Biennale_Yury Sidorov_Photo_Title_№_year_jpg.
- Requirements for printed works:
Minimal size of a print 30х45сm.
On the reverse side of each picture there must be named: the
author’s name and surname, the photo/series title, number of a
photo in the series, year, a post address, e-mail, telephone number.
- Entries not following these requirements will not be eligible
for entry.
Round 3 – the jury’s work: the winners
will be collectively chosen by 4th October 2013.
- Оpening of the Exhibition, awarding the winners.

5. EXHIBITION CALENDAR
Round 1:
- Digital versions of works are admitted till 14th August 2013.
- Publishing the results of the selection of works at www.permfotoart.ru
on 21th August 2013.
Round 2:
- The entries selected by the jury are admitted in a digital or
printed format till 30th August 2013.
Round 3:
- The jury’s solution – 4th October 2013.
- Оpening of the Exhibition – 4th October 2013, awarding
the winners, publishing the jury’s solution.
- Exhibition term - 4th October 2013 – 3rd November
2013.
- Printed works (only the ones sent by postal mail) are returned
to the authors – 1st December 2013 – 30th January 2014.
6. AWARDS
- Grand Prize – 25000 rub.,
- 2nd Place – 15000 rub.,
- 3rd Place - 10000 rub.,
- Prize after Victor Chuvyzgalov for development of realistic
line in photo art - 20000 rub.
- Prize after Raif Ablyashev for the best reflection of
provincial life - 20000 rub.
All entrants, chosen for the exposition, will receive diplomas
and catalogues of the Perm International Biennial Photography
Festival-2013.
7. ENTRY TERMS
The entry fee:
US $15 per entry for foreign entrants.
